Role Description:
We’re looking for a warm, energetic Preschool Teacher who genuinely enjoys working with

young children. The right educator will build a secure, caring, and joyful classroom where little

learners feel confident to explore, express themselves, and grow. Through thoughtful planning

and creative teaching, you’ll support their social skills, emotional confidence, and early learning

foundations.

Key Responsibilities:
Design and implement engaging daily lessons in line with the Kids of Our Universe ELC

curriculum, using play-based and inquiry-led methods to make learning meaningful.Foster an inclusive, engaging, and secure classroom environment that nurtures

children’s social, emotional, physical,



and cognitive growth.Observe and assess each child’s progress consistently; document learning journeys,

maintain portfolios, and prepare clear progress reports.Establish smooth classroom routines and transitions, guiding behaviour positively in

accordance with centre policies (strictly no corporal punishment).Develop strong partnerships with parents and guardians through open communication,

meetings, and regular updates.Work closely with the Head of Centre and colleagues on lesson planning, events,

enrolment processes, and overall centre development.Adhere to safeguarding, health, safety, and hygiene standards; take part in safety drills

and maintain accurate incident documentation.Attend staff meetings, participate in professional development programs, and actively

contribute shared learning to the team.Provide direction and oversight to classroom assistants, interns, and volunteers as

needed.Or
