Job Title:
Handicrafts & Textile Showroom Salesman

Job Summary:
A Sales Executive in a handicrafts and têxtile showroom is responsible for assisting customers, promoting traditional and modern products (such as fabrics, garments, home décor, and handmade items), and ensuring a pleasant shopping experience that leads to sales and customer satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities:
1. Customer Service
- Greet customers warmly and understand their needs
- Explain product details such as fabric type, craftsmanship, origin, and care instructions
- Suggest suitable products based on customer preferences and budget

2. Sales & Promotion
- Actively promote handicrafts, têxtiles, and related items
- Achieve daily/weekly/monthly sales targets
- Upsell and cross-sell products

3. Product Knowledge
- Maintain strong knowledge of:
- Different fabrics (cotton, silk, wool, etc.)
- Handicraft techniques (embroidery, weaving styles, regional specialties)
- Stay updated on current arrivals and trends

4. Showroom Maintenance




- Ensure products are neatly displayed and organized
- Maintain cleanliness and visual appeal of the showroom
- Assist in visual merchandising and window displays

5. Billing & Inventory Support
- Support in billing, invoicing, and payments (cash/card/UPI)
- Assist in stock checking and inventory management
- Report low stock or damaged items

6. Customer Relationship Management
- Build long-term relationships with customers
- Handle customer queries, complaints, and returns politely
- Maintain customer records if required

Required Skills:
- Good communication (spoken English)and interpersonal skills
- Basic knowledge of têxtiles and handicrafts (preferred)
- Sales and negotiation skills
- Customer-focused attitude

Qualifications:
- Minimum: 10th/12th pass (higher preferred)
- Experience in retail/showroom sales is an advantage

Salary Range:
- Negotiable
