Job Title: Press Shop Machine Operator

Job Summary

Key Responsibilities

Operate power press / hydraulic press / mechanical press machines as per production plans.

Perform sheet metal cutting, bending, punching, and forming operations.

Set up machines, dies, and tools according to production requirements.

Monitor machine performance and ensure smooth operation.

Conduct first-piece and in-process quality inspections to ensure dimensional accuracy.

Read and interpret engineering drawings / technical specifications.

Perform routine machine maintenance and report breakdowns immediately.

Ensure production targets are achieved with minimum rejection and downtime.

Follow all safety procedures, PPE requirements, and 5S standards in the press shop.

Maintain production records and daily machine logs.





Required Skills & Qualifications

ITI / Diploma in Mechanical Engineering or relevant technical qualification.

Hands-on experience with press shop machines (hydraulic, pneumatic, mechanical press).

Knowledge of sheet metal fabrication processes.

Ability to use measuring instruments like vernier caliper, micrometer, gauges.

Basic understanding of machine troubleshooting and preventive maintenance.

Valuable attention to detail and quality-focused mindset.

Preferred Experience

Experience in metal fabrication / security equipment / industrial manufacturing preferred.

Familiarity with ISO quality standards is an advantage.
