Job Summary

We are looking for an experienced Senior SAP Consultant with 6-7 years of hands-on experience in SAP Enterprise Portal (EP), SAP BTP, Fiori, and UI5. The candidate should have a strong combination of SAP platform administration, development, integration, troubleshooting, upgrade, and production support experience.

The role requires the ability to independently handle SAP Portal and BTP environments, develop and support applications, configure SSO and backend connections, perform upgrades and DR activities, and work closely with integration and business teams.

Key Responsibilities

SAP Enterprise Portal (SAP EP)

1. Hands-on experience in SAP Enterprise Portal administration and support. Portal system configuration, administration, monitoring, troubleshooting, and performance analysis.
2. Configuration and maintenance of Portal systems, applications, iViews, pages, worksets, roles, and navigation.
3. Good understanding of backend system connections and SSO configuration.
4. Experience with authentication mechanisms such as SAML, X.509 certificates, SSL/HTTPS, and Single Sign-On.
5. Configuration and troubleshooting of RFC, HTTP/HTTPS, Web Service and other backend connections.
6. Development, configuration, consumption, and troubleshooting of Web Services and their integration with SAP/non-SAP systems.
7. Strong experience in SAP SRM Portal setup, administration, configuration, and support.
8. Experience supporting SAP SRM Portal applications and integrations.
9. Hands-on experience with Web Dynpro Java administration and development.
10. Positive knowledge of Core Java/J2EE and ability to troubleshoot Java-based Portal applications.
11. Experience in deploying, configuring, and troubleshooting Web Dynpro Java applications.
12. Experience with bank/payment integrations and related interfaces is highly desirable.
13. Troubleshooting application, connectivity, authentication, SSL, and integration-related issues across Portal and backend systems.
14. Experience working with SAP Web Dispatcher / reverse proxy / load balancer configurations is desirable.

SAP BTP
1. Hands-on administration experience with SAP BTP Neo environment/subaccounts.
2. Administration and maintenance of BTP subaccounts, applications, destinations, security, users/roles, and services.
3. Good understanding of BTP Neo CF architecture and application deployment/support.
4. Experience with Fiori Launchpad / Launchpad content administration and maintenance.
5. Configuration and maintenance of Fiori applications, catalogs, groups, roles, tiles, and target mappings.
6. Experience supporting SAP Fiori applications and troubleshooting application/runtime issues.
7. Experience with SAP system upgrades, maintenance activities, and platform changes.
8. Participation in Disaster Recovery (DR) activities, including DR planning, execution, validation, and post-DR application verification.
9. Experience with BTP security, destinations, authentication, certificates, and connectivity.
10. Knowledge of SAP Cloud Connector and connectivity between BTP and on-premise SAP systems.
11. Experience supporting integrations between BTP, SAP backend systems, Portal, and external systems.

SAP Fiori / UI5
1. Strong hands-on experience in SAP Fiori and SAPUI5 development and support.
2. Development and maintenance of custom Fiori/UI5 applications.
3. Good knowledge of JavaScript, XML, JSON, OData, MVC architecture, and SAPUI5 controls.

Experience consuming OData services from Fiori/UI5 applications.
5. Ability to troubleshoot UI5 application issues using browser developer tools and application logs.
6. Experience with Fiori Launchpad configuration, application deployment, catalogs, roles, tiles, and target mappings.
7. Experience supporting Fiori applications across development, QA, and production environments.

Integration Technical Skills
1. Good understanding of SAP integration concepts and enterprise application connectivity.
2. Experience working with REST/SOAP Web Services, OData, HTTP/HTTPS, RFC, and other integration technologies.
3. Knowledge of certificates, SSL/TLS, trust configuration, and authentication mechanisms.
4. Experience troubleshooting end-to-end connectivity issues between SAP Portal, BTP, SAP backend, Cloud Connector, Web Dispatcher, and external systems.
5. Ability to analyze logs, traces, HTTP responses, Java exceptions, and connectivity errors.
6. Good understanding of SAP system landscape and transport/deployment processes.
