AI-ML and Application Specialist (Technology Consultant) – 6+ Years

Position: Consultant / Senior Consultant

Location: Kolkata

Role Summary:

The AI-ML and Application Specialist will provide technical oversight and quality assurance for application development and AI/ML initiatives. The resource will support the team in reviewing application architecture, validating functional and technical deliverables, assessing AI/ML use cases, and ensuring adherence to industry best practices, Government standards, and project requirements.

Key Responsibilities:

- Review and validate application architecture, software design, and development deliverables submitted by the System Integrator.
- Evaluate AI/ML use cases, algorithms, model performance, and deployment strategy to ensure alignment with business objectives.
- Assess Functional Requirement Specifications (FRS/SRS), Software Design Specifications (SDS), APIs, integration architecture, and application workflows.
- Monitor adherence to secure software development lifecycle (SSDLC), coding standards, scalability, performance, and application security best practices.




- Support review of testing artefacts including test strategy, test cases, defect reports, UAT, and application acceptance.
- Provide technical recommendations on emerging technologies, AI/ML adoption, dashboard analytics, automation, and digital transformation initiatives.
- Evaluate Change Requests (CRs) related to application functionality and AI/ML components for technical feasibility and impact.
- Support the PMU in technical reviews, risk assessment, issue resolution, stakeholder discussions, and preparation of technical reports.

Educational Qualification:

- B.E./B.Tech./MCA/M.Tech or equivalent in Computer Science, Information Technology, Artificial Intelligence, Data Science, or related discipline.

Experience:

- Minimum 6 years of experience in enterprise application development, solution architecture, or technology consulting.
- At least 2 years of hands-on experience in AI/ML, analytics, or intelligent automation projects.
- Experience in Government, e-Governance, Digital Transformation, or large-scale IT implementation projects will be preferred.
