Role Overview

We are looking for a seasoned Senior Cloud & DevOps Engineer with over 8 years of experience to lead our infrastructure strategy and automation efforts. You will be responsible for the entire lifecycle of our cloud environments across Azure and GCP , ensuring our Node.js, Express, and React applications are highly available, scalable, and secure. You will serve as the subject matter expert for CI/CD, Infrastructure as Code (IaC), and container orchestration.

Key Responsibilities

- Cloud Infrastructure Management: Architect and manage robust, multi-cloud environments across Azure and GCP . Optimize for cost, performance, and reliability.
- CI/CD Leadership: Design and maintain end-to-end automated pipelines using Jenkins, GitLab CI, or GitHub Actions .
- Infrastructure as Code (IaC): Use Terraform or Ansible to provision and manage immutable infrastructure.
- Containerization & Orchestration: Manage production-grade Docker containers and Kubernetes (AKS/GKE) clusters, ensuring seamless deployments and auto-scaling.
- Security & DevSecOps: Integrate security best practices into the CI/CD pipeline, including secrets management, vulnerability scanning, and automated compliance checks.
- Code Quality: Implement and manage SonarQube for code coverage, static analysis, and quality gates to maintain high standards for our Node.js and React codebases.
- Database Operations: Collaborate with developers to run and automate MySQL database scripts, migrations, and performance tuning.
- Monitoring & Observability:



Implement comprehensive monitoring (Prometheus, Grafana, ELK, or cloud-native tools) to proactively identify and troubleshoot system bottlenecks.

Technical Qualifications

- Experience: At least 8 years of professional experience in DevOps and Cloud Engineering roles.
- Cloud Platforms: Expert-level proficiency in Microsoft Azure and Google Cloud Platform (GCP) .
- CI/CD & Version Control: Mastery of Git and experience with enterprise-grade CI/CD tools ( Jenkins, GitLab CI, GitHub Actions ).
- Programming & Scripting: Strong proficiency in Python , Bash , or Ruby for automation and custom tooling.
- Application Stack: Familiarity with deploying and scaling Node.js (Express) backends and React.js frontends.
- Databases: Hands-on experience with MySQL , including the ability to execute and manage database scripts.
- IaC Tools: Deep expertise in Terraform (preferred) or Ansible.
- Quality Tools: Proven experience implementing SonarQube and automated testing frameworks.

Soft Skills

- Troubleshooting: Exceptional root-cause analysis skills for complex distributed systems.
- Collaboration: Ability to work closely with full-stack developers to streamline the "code-to-cloud" journey.
- Mentorship: Ability to guide junior engineers and champion DevOps culture across the organization.
