Role Description The Senior Cloud Engineer at Mehwar International Bureau for Auditing will design, implement, and maintain secure, scalable cloud-based solutions to support the organization’s auditing and business operations. This part-time, remote role includes architecting and optimizing cloud infrastructure, automating deployment pipelines, and ensuring high availability and performance of critical services.

The Senior Cloud

Engineer will monitor systems, troubleshoot incidents, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to translate business requirements into technical solutions. The role also involves maintaining documentation, applying best practices in security and compliance, and continuously improving the cloud environment through performance tuning and cost optimization.

Qualifications

- Candidates should possess strong Software Development experience, including scripting or programming skills for automation, integration, and tooling.
- Candidates should possess Infrastructure skills in designing, configuring, and managing cloud-native and hybrid environments.
- Candidates should possess Cloud Computing expertise,



with hands-on experience in major cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, GCP) and related services.
- Candidates should possess Linux administration skills for managing servers, containers, security hardening, and performance tuning.
- Candidates should possess Databases skills in designing, deploying, and optimizing relational and/or NoSQL data stores in cloud environments.
- Candidates should have experience with CI/CD pipelines, infrastructure-as-code tools (e.g., Terraform, CloudFormation), and containerization (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes).
- Candidates should demonstrate strong problem-solving abilities, explicit written and verbal communication, and effective remote collaboration skills.
- A bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience, is preferred.
- Experience in auditing, finance, or other regulated industries and familiarity with security and compliance standards (e.g., ISO, SOC, GDPR) is an advantage.
