The Role

We are seeking a Senior Backend Engineer with strong experience in NestJS and Node.js to design scalable APIs, optimize backend performance, and integrate systems with databases and external services. This is a hands-on role requiring strong coding, problem-solving, and collaboration skills.

What You'll Do

- Design and develop scalable APIs using NestJS and Node.js

- Build high-performance, secure, and maintainable backend systems

- Develop and manage API routes and backend architecture

- Design and optimize database structures and queries

- Integrate RESTful APIs, GraphQL, and external services

- Monitor performance and troubleshoot backend issues

- Identify and fix bottlenecks, bugs,



and security vulnerabilities

- Conduct code reviews and maintain coding standards

- Collaborate with frontend, DevOps, and product teams

- Maintain technical documentation

What We're Looking For

Must-Have:

- 4+ years of backend development experience

- Strong expertise in Node.js and NestJS

- Experience building APIs (REST, GraphQL, or SQL-based services)

- Strong database knowledge (PostgreSQL, MySQL, or NoSQL)

- Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, or Azure)

- Strong problem-solving and debugging skills

- Positive communication and teamwork skills

Nice to Have:

- Experience with Docker, Kubernetes, or serverless architecture

- Familiarity with JWT, OAuth, or authentication systems

- Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines

- Experience with microservices or event-driven architecture
