Snior AWS Operations Engineer

Location: Chennai

Experience: 6-9 Years

Key Responsibilities

- Manage and support AWS infrastructure including EC2, VPC, IAM, CloudWatch, and SSM.

- Administer and troubleshoot Windows and Linux servers.

- Perform OS patching, upgrades, hardening, and vulnerability remediation.

- Manage AWS Backup, EBS snapshots, and restoration activities.

- Monitor system health, performance, and availability across AWS environments.

- Support Active Directory, DNS, GPO, and domain integrations.

- Automate operational tasks using Python, Bash, or PowerShell.

- Perform root cause analysis and collaborate with Cloud, DevOps, and Security teams.

- Work with ServiceNow and Jira for incident and change management.

Required Skills

- 6-9 years of overall IT experience.

- 4-5+ years of hands-on AWS Cloud Operations experience.





- Solid experience with EC2, SSM, IAM, VPC, CloudWatch, and CloudTrail.

- Expertise in Windows and Linux administration.

- Experience with patch management, backup & recovery, and security compliance.

- Knowledge of Active Directory, DNS, and GPO.

- Scripting experience in Python, Bash, or PowerShell.

Preferred

- AWS SysOps Administrator Certification.

- Exposure to ITIL processes and multi-account AWS environments.
