Role Overview

Key Responsibilities

Automation & Process Optimization
- Design, develop, and maintain automation processes for SAP BASIS operations, including:
- Pre-migration activities
- Brownfield conversion post-processing
- Cutover execution
- Identify manual bottlenecks and implement automated solutions to enhance efficiency and reliability.

Routine BASIS Task Automation
- Automate day-to-day SAP BASIS activities, including:
- Failed job monitoring and resolution
- Spool management and deletion
- File system housekeeping
- Backup validation
- User management and administration

System Refresh & Migration Automation
- Implement and optimize automated SAP system refresh processes (Homogeneous and Heterogeneous).
- Reduce downtime, eliminate manual errors, and improve system consistency.

SAP Landscape Management
- Support end-to-end:




- SAP S/4HANA conversions
- BW/4HANA conversions
- NetWeaver upgrades
- Manage SAP HANA databases and ensure system performance, stability, and scalability.

Monitoring & Alerting
- Configure and maintain monitoring frameworks in SAP Solution Manager (SolMan).
- Enable automated alerts and trigger corrective actions for performance or system failures.

Cloud & Infrastructure Management
- Operate and manage SAP landscapes across:
- Public Cloud (AWS, Azure, GCP)
- Private Cloud / SAP RISE / ECS environments

Scripting & Tooling
- Develop custom scripts and tools using:
- Linux shell scripting
- Python
- SQL
- Build monitoring, reporting, and maintenance automation solutions.

Required Skills & Experience
- Minimum 6+ years of experience in SAP BASIS Administration:
- Hands-on experience in at least 1-2 end-to-end SAP implementations or migrations (Data Center, Cloud, OS/DB)
- Solid expertise in:
- SAP S/4HANA
- SAP H
