Job Summary

The Senior Stores Executive is responsible for overseeing inventory management, warehouse operations, and material control to ensure efficient storage, handling, and dispatch of goods. This role ensures accurate stock records, compliance with company policies, and smooth coordination with procurement, production, and logistics teams.

Key Responsibilities
- Manage day-to-day store operations including receipt, storage, and issue of materials
- Maintain accurate inventory records and ensure proper stock levels
- Monitor stock movement and conduct regular physical stock verification
- Ensure proper documentation (GRN, issue slips, stock registers, etc.)
- Coordinate with procurement and production teams for material planning
- Implement and maintain FIFO / LIFO inventory systems as applicable
- Ensure proper storage conditions to prevent damage, loss, or deterioration
- Supervise store staff and allocate tasks efficiently
- Handle vendor deliveries and verify materials against purchase orders
- Generate inventory reports and MIS for management review




- Ensure compliance with safety standards and company policies
- Identify and implement process improvements in store operations

Required Skills & Competencies
- Strong knowledge of inventory management and warehouse operations
- Familiarity with ERP systems (e.g., SAP ERP, Oracle ERP)
- Good analytical and organizational skills
- Attention to detail and accuracy
- Leadership and team management ability
- Problem-solving and decision-making skills
- Basic knowledge of supply chain processes

Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Commerce, Supply Chain, Logistics, or related field
- 5-8 years of experience in stores/warehouse management
- Experience in manufacturing or industrial workplace preferred

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: ₹500,000.00 - ₹600,000.00 per year
