Role Description:
This is a full-time on-site role for a Medical Laboratory Technicianposition located in Chennai. The Medical Laboratory Technicianwill be responsible for preparing and analyzing samples, conducting laboratory tests to diagnose various diseases accurately, maintaining laboratory equipment, and following safety procedures.
Key Responsibilities:
Basic Knowledge and Experience in common Molecular
Biology techniques such as,
- Isolation of DNA from clinical samples
- Performing PCR
- GEL electrophoresis
- DNA sequencing
- Extensive micro pippetting & measuring
- Preparation of solution and reagents following standard laboratory formulas and procedures
- Monitoring inventory levels in accordance with established policies and procedures
- Must have knowledge of laboratory procedures and safety,
sanitization procedures
- Responsible to maintain QC related documents
- Maintaining test logs within the laboratory
- Maintaining confidentiality
Experience:
.At Least 2 experience required in handling infectious samples in a molecular diagnostic laboratory is an advantage and Next Generation Sequencing (NGS) experience is essential.
Qualifications:
- B Tech / M Tech - Biotechnology / Genetic Engineering
- BSC / M Sc. - Biotechnology / Genetic Engineering
- BSC / M Sc. Molecular Biology
Skills:
- Team Player
- Excellent communication skills
- Positive knowledge in writing and speaking English
- Presentation Skills
- Computer skills

- Night shift
- Rotational shift
Work Location: In person
Pay: ₹13,000.00 - ₹19,500.00 per month
