Senior Analyst - Parallon Accounting

Position Summary

Theindividual hired for this role will be responsible for ensuring that allaccounting transactions are processed efficiently and effectively, inaccordance with established service levels and other contractual requirementsat the entry level to mid-level. The individual will be responsible for relatedtasks associated with accounting transactions to journals, ledgers and otherrecords. They will also be responsible for balance sheet reconciliations andwill work directly with the Team Lead in managing and resolving complex issuesas well as following up on open items for the accounts assigned.

Major Responsibilities

Reconcilebank statements, credit card statements, and other financial statements

Preparejournal entries and maintain the general ledger, ensuring accuracy andcompleteness

Assistin preparing financial statements, including balance sheets, income statements,and cash flow statements, ensuring accuracy and completeness

Assistin maintaining and updating accounting policies, procedures, and controls toensure compliance with IFRS-GAAP and other regulatory requirements

Respondto inquiries from other departments and external parties regarding accountingrelated matters





Provideguidance and support to junior accounting clerks

Participatein special projects, such as audits, budgeting, and forecasting, as assigned bymanagement

Education Experience

Minimumof 6-8 years of experience in accounting or finance Required

Bachelorsdegree in accounting or a related field Required

Experiencewith accounting software, such as Oracle, NetSuite or SAP Preferred

Knowledge, Skills, Abilities, Behaviors:

Excellentanalytical, problem-solving, and communication skills Required

Strongattention to detail and accuracy Required

Abilityto work independently and collaboratively in a team setting Required

Proficiencyin Microsoft Office, including Excel and Word Required
