About the Role

We are looking for a strong AI/ML Engineer with hands-on experience in GEO, AEO, AI-driven search, and LLM-based ranking systems. The ideal candidate will combine strong AI/ML engineering capabilities with a deep understanding of how generative engines, LLMs, and modern search systems discover, retrieve, rank, and surface information.

You will work on next-generation AI Search and Generative AI solutions, collaborating closely with Product, Engineering, SEO, Content, Marketing, and Business teams.

Key Responsibilities

- Design, develop, and deploy production-grade AI/ML and Generative AI solutions.
- Drive GEO, AEO, and SGE initiatives to improve visibility and discoverability across AI-powered search and generative interfaces.
- Optimize content, data, and digital experiences for AI-powered search, conversational queries, and LLM-based experiences.
- Develop solutions using LLMs, NLP, semantic search, embeddings, RAG, vector databases, and information retrieval.
- Work on AI-driven ranking, rank modeling, retrieval, and relevance optimization for search and generative AI systems.
- Analyze search intent, AI-generated responses, retrieval patterns, citations, ranking signals, and content discoverability to identify optimization opportunities.
- Build experiments, evaluation frameworks, and measurement approaches to assess GEO/AEO effectiveness and AI search performance.
- Develop and evaluate strategies to improve AI search rankings, relevance, discoverability, and content representation.
- Collaborate with Product, Engineering, Content, SEO, Marketing, and Business teams to translate business requirements into scalable AI solutions.
- Monitor AI/ML solution performance and continuously optimize accuracy, relevance, latency, scalability, and user experience.
- Stay updated with developments in Generative AI, AI Search, LLMs, GEO, AEO, SGE, and emerging search technologies.

Mandatory Requirements





- Strong AI/ML Engineer profile with hands-on experience working on GEO/AEO and AI-driven search projects.
- 4+ years of overall professional experience, including at least 1+ year of AI/ML experience related to GEO/AEO or AI-driven search optimization.
- 1+ year of hands-on experience in GEO, AEO, SGE, or similar AI-driven search optimization, including conversational and generative search experiences.
- 1+ year of experience working with LLM-driven ranking, AI search systems, information retrieval, rank modeling, or search relevance optimization.
- Strong understanding of SEO, GEO, AEO, semantic search, entity optimization, query intent, content relevance, and AI/LLM-based ranking.
- Strong understanding of how generative engines and LLM-based systems retrieve, evaluate, rank, and generate information.
- Solid understanding of LLM ecosystems such as ChatGPT, Google Gemini, or similar platforms.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to design experiments and evaluate AI search performance.
- Education: BE/B.Tech or a Dual Degree such as B.Tech + M.Tech or Integrated M.Sc./M.S. only.

Preferred Skills

- Experience with RAG, embeddings, vector databases, semantic retrieval, knowledge graphs, or information retrieval systems.
- Experience with search ranking, relevance modeling, personalization, or recommendation systems.
- Familiarity with AI search evaluation, citation analysis, query-level analytics, and generative search metrics.
- Experience working cross-functionally with Engineering, Product, SEO, Content, and Marketing teams.
- Strong understanding of emerging AI Search and Generative AI technologies.

Ideal Candidate The ideal candidate is an AI/ML Engineer who understands both the technical and search dimensions of Generative AI. They should have hands-on experience building AI/ML solutions while also understanding GEO/AEO, LLM-driven ranking, information retrieval, semantic search, and how generative engines surface and rank information.
