Description Ericsson is hiring a Senior AI-ML Engineer in Bangalore. The role focuses on building AI/ML and GenAI capabilities that improve products, automation, and developer productivity.

Role: Senior AI-ML Engineer

Location: Bangalore, Karnataka, India

Experience

- 7 to 10 years
- Strong software engineering experience, preferably in Python and cloud-native environments
- Solid understanding of machine learning, generative AI, and data-driven systems
- Experience building scalable applications, APIs, and distributed systems
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to handle ambiguous challenges
- Excellent communication, collaboration, and technical leadership skills

Qualification

- All academic credentials must be from recognized and accredited institutions and are subject to verification

Responsibilities

- Design and develop AI/ML capabilities for Ericsson products
- Build intelligent automation, operational analytics, and GenAI-powered solutions
- Apply AI to improve software engineering productivity through automation, knowledge management, and developer-assistance solutions
- Drive innovation from concept through deployment into production-ready capabilities




- Provide technical leadership in AI/ML, influencing product strategy, architecture, and technology direction
- Collaborate with product management, architects, and engineering teams to identify and realize AI-driven business opportunities

Nice To Have

- Familiarity with AI evaluation, safety, and reliability techniques
- Experience with vector databases and semantic search technologies
- Exposure to Kubernetes, cloud platforms, and contemporary AI tooling
- Knowledge of telecom networks, OSS/BSS, or network management systems
