A Dispatch Supervisor oversees daily dispatch operations to ensure vehicles, drivers, or shipments are scheduled, routed, and delivered safely and on time. They manage the dispatch team, coordinate with other departments, handle issues or delays in the field, and maintain accurate records of trips and deliveries.
Common qualifications include:
- Minimum: 12th pass or diploma; many employers prefer a bachelor’s degree in logistics, supply chain, transportation, or a related field.
- 1-3+ years of experience in dispatch, transport planning, warehouse/logistics coordination, or a similar supervisory role.
- Knowledge of local geography, transport regulations, safety procedures, and company policies.
Pay: ₹25,000.00 - ₹30,000.00 per month
