Job Description - Inventory Executive
Position: Inventory Executive
Department: Inventory
Location: Surat
Reporting To: Inventory ManagerKey Responsibilities:
- Maintain accurate inventory records for all jewellery items, including gold, diamonds, gemstones, and finished products.
- Handle daily stock inward and outward entries in Gati software.
- Conduct regular stock audits, cycle counts, and physical verification of inventory.
- Ensure stock reconciliation between physical stock and system records, and report discrepancies immediately.
- Monitor stock movement between stores, HO, warehouse, and vendors.
- Coordinate with store teams for stock issues, transfers, and product availability.
- Verify purchase invoices, delivery challans, and GRNs for stock updates.
- Maintain proper classification and tagging of jewellery items.
- Assist in monthly/quarterly stock-taking and audit support.
- Generate daily, weekly, and monthly inventory reports.
- Ensure proper documentation and compliance with company policies.
- Raise alerts for low stock, quick-moving items, and slow-moving inventory.




- Follow SOPs related to jewellery handling, safety, and inventory control.

Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Commerce, Business Administration, or related field.
- Mandatory: Working knowledge of Gati Software (Jewellery ERP).
- 1-3 years of experience in inventory management, preferably in the jewellery industry.
- Strong analytical and numerical skills.
- Good understanding of inventory processes and stock audits.
- Attention to detail with high accuracy in data entry.
- Proficiency in MS Excel (VLOOKUP, Pivot Table, Basic Reporting).
- Ability to coordinate with multiple departments.
