Key Responsibilities:
Academic Delivery
- Teach Economics or Commercial Studies to Grades 9 and 10 as per ICSE syllabus.
- Prepare lesson plans aligned with Council for the Indian School Certificate Examinations guidelines.
- Explain concepts like demand & supply, market structures, public finance, banking, trade, and consumer awareness.
- Use interactive teaching methods (case studies, discussions, presentations).

Assessment & Evaluation
- Design question papers, assignments, and projects as per ICSE pattern.
- Conduct regular assessments and provide constructive feedback.
- Prepare students for internal exams and board examinations.

Classroom Management
- Maintain discipline and create a positive learning environment.
- Encourage student participation and critical thinking.

Student Development
- Identify learning gaps and provide remedial support.
- Mentor students in academic and career-related matters.
- Promote awareness of real-world economic issues.

Administrative Duties
- Maintain academic records and progress reports.
- Participate in staff meetings,



parent-teacher meetings, and school events.
- Contribute to curriculum planning and improvement.

Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Commerce / Economics (B.Com / B.A. Economics).
- B.Ed. (Bachelor of Education) - mandatory/preferred.
- Prior teaching experience in ICSE or similar curriculum preferred.

Key Skills:
- Familiarity with ICSE exam patterns and evaluation methods.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills.
- Classroom management and student engagement skills.
- Proficiency in using digital teaching tools.

Experience:
- 1-5 years of teaching experience (preferred for Grade 9-10 ICSE).
