Role Description The Senior Admissions Counselor is a full-time, remote role responsible for guiding prospective learners through the admissions journey and helping them select the right Skillofy_AI programs. This role involves conducting discovery calls, explaining program offerings and learning paths, and assessing candidate fit based on career goals, experience, and interests.

The counselor will respond to inquiries via calls, email, and chat, provide explicit information on curriculum, schedules, fees, and financial options, and maintain accurate records in CRM systems. Day-to-day responsibilities include managing an admissions pipeline,



following up with leads, collaborating with marketing and academic teams to improve the admissions experience, and providing honest, student-centered guidance to support successful enrollment and long-term learner outcomes.

Qualifications

- Candidates should possess strong Interpersonal Communication and Communication skills to engage effectively with diverse prospective learners and stakeholders.
- Candidates should possess solid Customer Service skills to provide responsive, empathetic, and solution-oriented support throughout the admissions process.
- Candidates should possess Sales skills, including consultative selling, lead follow-up, and pipeline management, to convert qualified leads into successful enrollments.
- Candidates should possess Education-related skills, such as understanding learning pathways and explaining program structures in clear, accessible terms.
- Relevant experience in admissions, counseling, edtech, higher education, or career services is highly beneficial.
- Ability to work independently in a remote environment, manage multiple priorities, and use CRM and communication tools effectively.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, with a focus on ethical, learner-first guidance and long-term career impact.
- Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field (such as Education, Business, Psychology, Communications, or similar) or equivalent practical experience.
