Job Summary

We are looking for an experienced and detail-oriented Accountant with prior experience in franchise schools to manage day-to-day accounting, financial records, fee collections, vendor payments, reconciliations, and financial reporting. The candidate should have a good understanding of school accounting processes and the financial requirements of a franchise school model.

Key Responsibilities

- Manage day-to-day accounting and financial transactions of the school.
- Maintain accurate books of accounts, ledgers, vouchers, and financial records.
- Handle school fee accounting, collection records, receipts, refunds, and outstanding fee tracking.
- Monitor and reconcile franchise-related financial transactions, including royalty, revenue sharing, and other applicable payments.
- Prepare monthly financial statements, MIS reports, and management reports.
- Handle bank reconciliation, cash management, and petty cash transactions.
- Process vendor bills, purchase invoices, and payments while maintaining proper documentation.
- Coordinate with the franchisor and school management regarding financial statements, payments, and required reports.




- Ensure timely statutory compliance related to TDS, GST, PF, ESI, and other applicable regulations.
- Maintain records of expenses, assets, liabilities, and school-related financial commitments.
- Assist in budgeting, expense monitoring, and financial planning.
- Coordinate with auditors during internal and statutory audits and provide required documents.
- Verify payroll-related accounting entries and coordinate with HR for salary processing.
- Ensure proper maintenance of supporting documents for all financial transactions.
- Identify discrepancies and ensure timely resolution of accounting issues.
- Maintain confidentiality of financial and employee-related information.

Required Skills & Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Commerce / Accounting / Finance (B.Com preferred).
- 3–6 years of relevant accounting experience.
- Prior experience in franchise schools is highly preferred.
- Strong knowledge of accounting principles and financial procedures.
- Working knowledge of Tally / ERP / MS Excel.
- Good understanding of GST, TDS, and other statutory compliances.
- Robust reconciliation and analytical skills.
- Good attention to detail and accuracy.
- Ability to work independently and coordinate effectively with school management and franchisor teams.

Note: The salary will be based on your current or last salary. Pay: Up to ₹50,000.00 per month
