We are looking for a detail-oriented and proactive Senior Accountant to support our UAE Accounting operations. The ideal candidate should have good knowledge of accounting practices, VAT regulations, financial reporting, and client management. Candidates with strong Indian accounting experience and a CA Inter qualification (pursuing) are encouraged to apply.

Key Responsibilities

- Manage and maintain bookkeeping for clients.
- Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements and reports.
- Assist in VAT return preparation and ensure compliance with applicable VAT regulations.
- Perform and review bank reconciliations, accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general ledger reconciliations.
- Review accounting entries and financial records to ensure accuracy and compliance with company standards.
- Coordinate with clients to resolve accounting queries and collect required financial documents.
- Assist in month-end and year-end closing activities.
- Support junior accountants by providing guidance and reviewing their work.
- Monitor assigned tasks and ensure timely completion of accounting activities.
- Assist in implementing accounting processes, procedures, and internal controls.
- Prepare management reports and basic financial analysis.
- Coordinate with auditors and provide required accounting records and supporting documents.
- Maintain proper documentation and accounting records for assigned clients.
- Stay updated with relevant accounting, VAT, and compliance requirements.
- Support the Accounts Manager in day-to-day accounting operations.

Required Skills
- CA Inter – Pursuing is required.
- 2–3 years of relevant accounting experience.
- Indian accounting experience will be considered.




- Positive knowledge of accounting principles, bookkeeping, and financial reporting.
- Knowledge of UAE Accounting and VAT regulations is preferred.
- Experience with accounting software such as Xero, QuickBooks, Zoho Books, Sage, or similar ERP/accounting systems.
- Strong understanding of reconciliations and financial statements.
- Good analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Good communication and client management skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Google Sheets.

Preferred Qualifications
- Experience working with an accounting outsourcing firm, CA firm, or similar organization.
- UAE accounting/VAT experience will be an added advantage but is not mandatory.
- Knowledge of UAE Corporate Tax will be an added advantage.
- Experience handling multiple clients simultaneously.
- Candidates with exposure to international accounting practices will be preferred.
