About the Position:

The Senior Accountant is a key member of the Financial Accounting team responsible for delivering accurate financial reporting, strengthening accounting processes, and providing meaningful financial insights that support strategic business decisions. This role requires a hands-on accounting professional who can independently manage critical accounting functions, analyze financial data, and communicate insights that drive organizational performance and growth.

What You Will Do:

- Lead month-end and year-end close activities, including WIP accounting, journal entries, account reconciliations, and account analysis.
- Prepare financial reporting packages and analyze financial results, trends, variances, and key performance indicators.
- Manage job costing activities to ensure project profitability is accurately captured, monitored, and reported.
- Maintain weekly cash flow forecasting and perform ongoing financial analysis to support business planning and decision-making.




- Serve as a key contact for internal and external audits, including preparation of schedules, supporting documentation, and audit analysis.
- Support budgeting and forecasting activities through data gathering, reporting, schedule preparation, and financial analysis.
- Identify and implement improvements to accounting processes, reporting, internal controls, and operational efficiency initiatives.

What We’re Looking For:

- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field required.
- CPA or other professional accounting certification preferred.
- 5+ years of progressive accounting experience.
- 2+ years of experience analyzing and reporting financial data.
- 2+ years of experience training, mentoring, or providing guidance to junior accounting staff. · Experience with IFRS reporting standards preferred.
- Experience supporting month-end close, audit preparation, account reconciliations, and process improvement initiatives.

What We Prefer:

- Robust understanding of financial reporting, general accounting principles, and job costing methodologies.
- Advanced Microsoft Excel skills, including complex formulas, reporting, and data analysis. Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications, including Word and Outlook.

Working Conditions:
