Job Summary

We are looking for an experienced and detail-oriented Senior Accountant to manage day-to-day accounting operations and support the finalisation of accounts for the organisation and Lead a team of accounts department.. The candidate should have strong hands-on experience in Tally, GST, TDS, invoicing, reconciliations and statutory compliance.

Key Responsibilities

- Handle day-to-day accounting and maintain accurate books of accounts.
- Assist in finalisation of accounts, including preparation of schedules and supporting documents.
- Ensure proper accounting and checking of sales and purchase invoices.
- Verify invoices, bills, supporting documents and approvals before processing.
- Handle GST compliance, including GSTR-1, GSTR-3B, reconciliations and related records.
- Manage TDS calculations, deductions, payments and returns.
- Prepare and review bank, ledger, vendor and customer reconciliations.
- Monitor outstanding receivables and payables.
- Ensure proper maintenance of vouchers, ledgers and financial records.
- Coordinate with auditors, consultants and internal departments during audits and finalisation.




- Ensure compliance with applicable accounting standards, GST, TDS and other statutory requirements.
- Generate MIS and financial reports as required by management.
- Identify accounting discrepancies and ensure timely rectification.

Required Skills & Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Commerce / Accounting / Finance.
- Minimum 5 years of relevant accounting experience.
- Expert-level working knowledge of Tally / Tally Prime.
- Strong knowledge of GST and TDS compliance.
- Positive understanding of finalisation of accounts.
- Excellent knowledge of invoice verification and accounting processes.
- Strong knowledge of MS Excel.
- Good analytical, reconciliation and problem-solving skills.
- High level of accuracy, attention to detail and integrity.

Preferred Candidate Candidates with experience in handling accounts for schools, educational institutions, trusts or multi-unit organisations will be preferred. Freshers please excuse..

Salary: As per experience and suitability.
