Position: Security Officer

Location: Palladam, Tamil Nadu

Experience: 15–20 Years

Age Limit: 45–50 Years

Salary: ₹20,000 – ₹30,000 per month

Job Summary

We are looking for an experienced and responsible Security Officer to manage and oversee the security operations of our manufacturing facility in Palladam.

The ideal candidate should have 15–20 years of experience in security operations, with strong experience in managing security personnel, access control, CCTV monitoring, incident handling, and overall plant security. Candidates with experience in the manufacturing industry will be preferred.

Key Responsibilities

- Manage the overall security operations of the company premises.
- Supervise and coordinate the security guards and security team.
- Prepare and monitor security staff duty schedules and shift arrangements.
- Ensure proper security at all entry and exit points.
- Monitor the movement of employees, visitors, contractors, vehicles, and materials.
- Ensure proper checking of incoming and outgoing materials and vehicles.
- Conduct regular security rounds and inspections of the premises.
- Prevent theft, unauthorized entry, pilferage, damage, and other security-related incidents.
- Maintain security registers, visitor records, vehicle records, gate passes, and incident reports.
- Handle and investigate security incidents and report them to management.
- Coordinate with HR, Administration, EHS,



and other departments regarding security matters.
- Ensure proper discipline, alertness, punctuality, and grooming of security personnel.
- Ensure compliance with company security policies and procedures.
- Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly security reports for management.

Candidate Requirements
- Qualification: Any Degree.
- Experience: 15–20 years of relevant experience in Security / Industrial Security.
- Age: 45–50 years.
- Experience in a Manufacturing / Factory / Industrial environment is preferred.
- Experience in managing a security team and handling multiple security shifts.
- Strong leadership and team-management skills.
- Should be physically fit, alert, disciplined, and responsible.
- Ability to handle emergency and critical situations effectively.
- Willingness to work in shifts and attend emergencies when required.

Preferred Background Candidates with experience in the following areas will be preferred:
- Manufacturing / Factory Security
- Industrial Security
- Plant Security
- Ex-Servicemen / Defence background
- Police / Paramilitary background
- Large-scale industrial security operations

Salary & Perks Salary: ₹20,000 – ₹30,000 per month

Salary will be based on the candidate's experience, skills, and suitability for the position.
