Role Description The Search Engine Optimization Team Lead is a full-time, on-site role based in Rajkot. This position is responsible for leading the SEO team, planning and executing SEO strategies, and coordinating with cross-functional marketing and content teams. Day-to-day tasks include managing keyword research, overseeing on-page optimization, directing link-building initiatives, and analyzing web performance data to improve rankings and organic traffic.

The role involves setting SEO goals, monitoring progress, preparing performance reports, and presenting insights and recommendations to stakeholders.

Lead is expected to mentor team members, ensure best practices are followed, and stay current with search engine algorithm updates and industry trends.

Qualifications

- Strong expertise in core SEO practices, including Keyword Research and On-Page SEO.
- Proficiency in off-page optimization techniques, with practical experience in Link Building.
- Solid understanding of digital Marketing fundamentals and how SEO integrates with broader campaigns.
- Hands-on experience with Web Analytics tools (e.g., Google Analytics, Google Search Console, other SEO platforms).
- Leadership experience in managing SEO projects or teams, with the ability to prioritize and delegate effectively.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret data and turn insights into actionable strategies.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills for collaborating with internal teams and presenting to clients or stakeholders.
- Demonstrated ability to stay updated on SEO best practices, algorithm changes, and industry trends.
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Business, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
- Experience in agency or multi-client environments is a plus.
