Orchids The International School is looking for a passionate and dedicated Secondary Biology Teacher to join our academic team at our Nigdi, Pune location.

Job Summary The ideal candidate will have solid subject knowledge, excellent communication skills, and the ability to create an engaging, student-centric classroom environment. The candidate should be committed to supporting students' academic growth and overall development.

Key Responsibilities

- Teach Biology to secondary school students as per the school curriculum.
- Plan and deliver engaging, interactive, and concept-based lessons.
- Assess and monitor student learning through assignments, tests, and regular evaluations.
- Maintain a positive, disciplined, and inclusive classroom environment.
- Provide academic support and guidance to students based on their learning needs.
- Maintain accurate student records and update the school’s online portal.




- Communicate with parents regarding student progress and areas of improvement.
- Participate in school activities, academic meetings, training programs, and other initiatives.

Qualifications & Experience

- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Biology/Life Sciences or a relevant subject.
- B.Ed. is mandatory.
- Minimum 2 years of teaching experience preferred.
- CBSE teaching experience is mandatory/preferred depending on the school's requirement.
- Strong subject knowledge and communication skills.
- Proficiency in digital tools and technology-enabled teaching.
