Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior QA Automation Engineer with 5+ years of experience in software testing and automation. The ideal candidate should have robust expertise in mobile test automation using Appium and web automation using Playwright, along with a solid understanding of Agile methodologies, CI/CD pipelines, and test automation frameworks.The candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining scalable test automation solutions to ensure the quality and reliability of web and mobile applications.Key Responsibilities

- Design, develop, and maintain automation frameworks for web and mobile applications.
- Create and execute automated test scripts using Playwright and Appium.
- Perform functional, regression, integration, and end-to-end testing.
- Collaborate with developers, business analysts, and product owners to understand requirements and define test strategies.
- Integrate automated test suites into CI/CD pipelines.
- Analyze test results, identify defects, and work closely with development teams for resolution.
- Participate in sprint planning, grooming,



and retrospective meetings.
- Review test cases and automation scripts to ensure code quality and maintainability.
- Generate test execution reports and provide regular status updates to stakeholders.
- Mentor junior QA engineers and contribute to automation best practices.

Required Skills

- 5+ years of experience in Software Quality Assurance and Test Automation.
- Strong hands-on experience with Appium for mobile application automation (Android and iOS).
- Strong experience with Playwright for web application automation.
- Proficiency in JavaScript/TypeScript or Java.
- Experience in building and maintaining automation frameworks.
- Knowledge of API testing using Postman, REST Assured, or similar tools.
- Experience with version control systems such as Git.
- Strong understanding of test design techniques and SDLC/STLC.
- Experience with CI/CD tools such as Azure DevOps, Jenkins, or GitHub Actions.
- Familiarity with defect tracking tools like Jira.
- Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments.
