Position Overview:
Key Responsibilities:
- Project Leadership: Mentor cross-functional teams of 5-15 members, helping in project planning, execution, and delivery within scope, budget, and timelines.
Drive Agile and DevOps methodologies to integrate QE processes seamlessly into development lifecycles.
Monitor project metrics, identify risks, and implement mitigation strategies to ensure quality outcomes.
- Quality Engineering Expertise: Design and implement test automation frameworks using tools like Selenium, Appium, or JUnit, ensuring secure coding practices. Oversee non-functional testing, including performance, accessibility, and security testing, to meet client SLAs. Well versed with security testing initiatives, including vulnerability assessments, penetration testing, and compliance with standards like OWASP Top 10 and GDPR. Establish quality and security metrics (e.g., defect density, test coverage,
vulnerability severity) to drive continuous improvement.
- Thought Leadership: Provide insights on emerging trends in QE and security testing, such as AI-driven testing, zero-trust architectures, and cloud-native security. Mentor junior consultants and QE engineers, building expertise in secure software development and testing practices. Contribute to CGI's intellectual property by developing reusable QE and security testing frameworks.
- Business Development: Support pre-sales activities, crafting proposals and presenting solutions that highlight CGI's QE and security testing capabilities. Identify upsell opportunities within client engagements, proposing security-focused services to enhance project value.
Qualifications & Skills:
- Education: Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Cybersecurity, Engineering, or a related field.
