About the Role

Varni Gems is hiring a fast and talented Jewellery Sketch Artist to join our team in Surat. You will create high-quality digital jewellery sketches at speed and volume throughout the day. This is a rapid-paced role — we need someone who can consistently produce clean, detailed, and visually impressive jewellery sketches, one after another, all day long.

Key Responsibilities
- Produce jewellery sketches to a high standard
- Create digital sketches of rings, earrings, pendants, necklaces, bangles, bracelets, and solitaire pieces
- Work from customer descriptions, reference images, and design briefs to produce accurate sketches
- Show correct proportions, stone placements, setting styles, band details, and overall design intent in every sketch
- Produce quick revisions and alternative design variations when required
- Create 2-3 design options per brief when needed
- Annotate sketches with key details such as stone sizes, setting types,



and metal notes for handover to the CAD team
- Maintain an organised digital library of all completed sketches with proper file naming
- Collaborate with the sales and CAD teams daily

Required Skills & Qualifications
- Minimum 2 years of experience in jewellery sketch/design work
- Ability to produce a clean, customer-ready jewellery sketch in 20-30 minutes
- Strong digital sketching skills using any professional sketching software or tool
- Solid understanding of jewellery construction, diamond and stone settings, prong types, and manufacturing basics
- Experience sketching across all jewellery categories
- Ability to interpret vague or incomplete briefs and turn them into clear visual designs
- Comfortable working at high volume in a fast-paced environment
- Strong attention to detail and accurate proportions

- Experience in the diamond or fine jewellery industry
