PDT specializes in engaging, shareable storytelling for the Indian internet audience and collaborates with brands and creators to build impactful campaigns. The team values creativity, experimentation, and strong narrative skills in a fast-paced digital setting.

Role Description The Screenplay Writer Intern will work closely with the creative and production teams to develop engaging scripts for short films, branded content, digital sketches, and other online video formats. Day-to-day responsibilities include brainstorming concepts, outlining story structures, writing screenplay drafts, incorporating feedback, and refining dialogue and scenes to match the brand’s tone and audience.

The intern will assist in creating pitch documents, character arcs, and scene breakdowns,



and may be involved in table reads and pre-production discussions to ensure scripts translate effectively to screen. This is an on-site internship role based in Noida, requiring regular collaboration with team members and participation in creative meetings.

Qualifications

- Strong creative writing and storytelling abilities, with a focus on screenplay and scriptwriting for digital or film content.
- Ability to develop compelling characters, realistic dialogue, and clear narrative structures suited to short-form and web-friendly formats.
- Basic understanding of visual storytelling, scene construction, and pacing for video content and social media platforms.
- Good research skills to inform scripts with relevant cultural, social, and contextual details that resonate with online audiences.
- Comfort receiving and implementing editorial feedback, revising drafts, and working under deadlines in a collaborative environment.
- Strong command of written English; knowledge of Hindi or other Indian languages for dialogue writing is a plus.
- Interest in digital media, viral content, and contemporary pop culture; prior writing samples or portfolio of scripts is highly beneficial.
- Currently pursuing or recently completed studies in Film, Media, Communication, Literature, or related fields is preferred but not mandatory.
