About the Role

We are looking for an experienced Scrum Master to facilitate Agile delivery across technology and digital initiatives. The role will be responsible for enabling high-performing Scrum teams, driving Agile practices, removing delivery impediments, and ensuring effective collaboration between engineering, product, business, and other stakeholders.

The ideal candidate should have strong experience working in technology delivery environments, managing distributed teams, facilitating Agile ceremonies, and supporting teams in delivering quality outcomes within agreed timelines.

Key Responsibilities

- Act as the Scrum Master for one or more Agile/Scrum teams, ensuring effective adoption of Scrum principles and practices.
- Facilitate key Scrum ceremonies, including Sprint Planning, Daily Stand-ups, Sprint Reviews, Retrospectives, Backlog Refinement and Release Planning.
- Work closely with Product Owners, Business Analysts, Engineering teams and other stakeholders to ensure a healthy and prioritized product backlog.
- Identify, track and remove impediments, dependencies and delivery risks impacting the team's progress.
- Drive continuous improvement through retrospectives, Agile metrics and team coaching.
- Monitor sprint progress, velocity, burn-down/burn-up trends and other relevant Agile delivery metrics.
- Support teams in maintaining sustainable delivery velocity and meeting sprint/release commitments.
- Facilitate collaboration between cross-functional and geographically distributed teams.
- Proactively identify delivery challenges and escalate risks where required.
- Coordinate with Product, Technology, QA, Architecture, Infrastructure and Business teams to manage dependencies.
- Promote a culture of transparency, accountability, collaboration and continuous improvement.




- Coach team members and stakeholders on Agile/Scrum principles and help teams become increasingly self-organizing.
- Support release planning and coordinate with relevant stakeholders for successful releases.
- Ensure that Agile practices are consistently followed while remaining pragmatic and outcome-focused.
- Prepare and communicate relevant delivery dashboards, sprint reports and management updates.
- Contribute to Agile transformation initiatives and improvements in delivery processes.

Required Skills & Experience

- 5–7 years of overall experience in IT/Technology delivery, with robust experience as a Scrum Master.
- Minimum 3+ years of hands-on experience working as a Scrum Master in Agile/Scrum environments.
- Strong understanding of Scrum, Agile principles, Kanban and Agile delivery methodologies.
- Experience working with cross-functional technology teams comprising Developers, QA, Product Owners, Business Analysts and other technical specialists.
- Strong experience in JIRA, Confluence or similar Agile project-management tools.
- Good understanding of software development lifecycle (SDLC), testing, deployment and release processes.
- Strong experience managing dependencies, risks, impediments and delivery timelines.
- Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills.
- Experience working with distributed/offshore-onshore teams is preferred.
- Ability to facilitate discussions, resolve conflicts and drive consensus across teams.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving and organizational skills.
- Ability to operate effectively in a fast-paced, changing technology environment.

Preferred Qualifications

- Certified ScrumMaster (CSM), Professional Scrum Master (PSM) or equivalent Agile certification.
- SAFe certification would be an advantage.
- Experience working in enterprise technology, digital transformation, financial services, professional services or regulated environments.
- Exposure to cloud, APIs, enterprise applications or modern software engineering practices would be beneficial.
