Job Purpose: Engineer - Operations (Wind) is responsible for supporting the operations activities of wind energy assets.



This role involves executing daily maintenance tasks, ensuring effective asset performance, and monitoring operational parameters. The Engineer will assist in improving asset reliability, optimizing processes, and maintaining compliance with safety, regulatory, and operational standards.

Additionally, the Engineer will contribute to technology initiatives, assist in team development, and support financial and operational goals within the wind portfolio.

Responsibilities

Operational Efficiency: Monitor and achieve operational performance targets in alignment with annual business plans.

Ensure adherence to the power curve and maintain operational efficiency.

Conduct preventive maintenance (HYPM,YPM) , testing, calibration, and asset maintenance.

Resolve critical site issues and ensure timely payment cycles.

Coordinate with OEMs to implement earlist Correctives.

Implementation of SAP in totallity, e.g. mapping the schedule PM/ Preservation PM, etc and closure of notifications, creation and closure of of BM notification within set lime line.Analyze daily interruption records to act proactiovely and eliminate errors with help of robust RCA and CAPA process, hence improve reliability of Assets.

Safety and Compliance:

Achieve zero accidents and lost time injuries (LTIs) by adhering to safety KPIs and conducting regular safety audits.





Develop and sustain a safety-conscious culture through process and system development and behavioral training.

Business Performance:

Meet budget targets, focusing on revenue and operational expenditure (Opex) costs.

Ensure timely and accurate submission of reports and audit point closures.

Develop and refine standard operating procedures (SOPs) and best practices for WTG maintenance and operations.

Inventory and Resource Management:

Manage inventory effectively, ensuring accuracy and adherence to budgetary constraints.

Monitor and manage inventory levels and maintain timely payment cycles.

Planning and Execution:

Support site planning and execution efforts to ensure alignment with operational targets and business plans.

Ensure timely closure of audit points as per agreed timelines.

Business Excellence:

Participate in business excellence initiatives to improve processes and performance.

Ensure compliance with business processes and strategic plans.

CSR and Community Engagement:

Engage in corporate social responsibility (CSR) activities as part of community outreach and engagement efforts.

Educational Qualification: B.E./B.Tech/Diploma - Electrical or Mechanical or relevant to Energy Sector

MBA - Advantageous

Work Experience:

6-8 years of experience ( If Diploma holder: additional 2-3 Y Exp. req.)
