Sr. Executive – SCM

Location: Chakan, Pune

Experience: 5–8 Years

Qualification: Diploma / B.Tech – Mechanical

CTC: ₹5–7 LPA

We are looking for an experienced SCM skilled with strong exposure to material planning, procurement, supplier management and inventory control in a manufacturing environment.

Key Responsibilities

Material scheduling, planning and procurement on monthly, weekly and daily basis.

Handling both local suppliers and long lead suppliers.

Following up with suppliers for material delivery, rejection and shortages.

Managing procurement activities and ensuring timely availability of quality and cost-effective materials.

Resolving supply, quality and invoicing issues with vendors.

Coordinating closely with Logistics, Production, Quality and Stores teams for effective material planning.

Managing inventory as per defined targets and classification.

Driving VAVE initiatives and ensuring material control during engineering changes with zero obsolescence.

Vendor development and continuous improvement at supplier end.

Ensuring on-time availability of spare requirements.

Coordinating with Accounts for timely vendor payments.





Updating Purchase Orders in the system.

Requirements:

5–8 years of relevant experience in SCM / Material Planning / Procurement / Purchase.

Diploma or B.Tech in Mechanical Engineering.

Strong experience in Material Planning, Procurement, Supplier Management and Inventory Management.

Hands-on experience with SAP is mandatory.

Candidates from Manufacturing / Engineering / Automotive / Auto Components backgrounds will be preferred.
