SAP TEST LEAD

We are seeking an experienced Test Lead to drive quality assurance initiatives across the software development lifecycle. The ideal candidate will be responsible for defining test strategies, leading QA teams, managing defect lifecycle activities, and ensuring high-quality software releases. The role requires strong leadership, stakeholder management, and expertise in modern testing methodologies and tools.

Key Responsibilities

- Define and implement test strategies, test plans, and test cases based on business and technical requirements.
- Lead and mentor QA engineers and testers, ensuring effective resource allocation and team development.
- Manage end-to-end testing activities, including Functional, Integration, Regression, Performance, and UAT testing.
- Drive test automation initiatives and identify opportunities to improve QA efficiency.
- Oversee defect management, triage, root cause analysis, and resolution tracking.
- Collaborate with Developers, Product Owners, Business Analysts, and Project Managers to ensure product quality.
- Monitor testing progress and provide regular quality metrics and status reports.
- Ensure testing activities align with Agile, Scrum, CI/CD, and DevOps practices.
- Track release readiness through test coverage, defect trends, and risk assessments.




- Establish QA best practices, standards, and governance processes.

Required Skills
- 10-15 years of experience in Software Testing and Quality Assurance.
- 2-3+ years of experience as a Test Lead, QA Lead, or QA Manager.
- Solid knowledge of Functional, Non-Functional, Regression, Integration, and UAT Testing.
- Experience with test management and defect tracking tools such as Jira, Zephyr, TestRail, ALM, or SolMan.
- Strong understanding of Agile, Scrum, SDLC, CI/CD, and DevOps practices.
- Experience in Test Planning, Test Strategy, Defect Management, and Release Management.
- Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills.
- Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving abilities.

Preferred Skills
- ISTQB Certification or equivalent QA certifications.
- Experience with Selenium, Cypress, Playwright, Appium, or other automation frameworks.
- Knowledge of Performance Testing tools such as JMeter or LoadRunner.
- API Testing experience using Postman or REST Assured.
- SQL and database validation experience.
- Basic programming knowledge in Java, Python, or JavaScript.
