Education Qualification: Bachelor’s degree in computer science or related field or higher with minimum 4 years of relevant experience.

Position Description

We are looking for a motivated and skilled SAP Security & Authorization Consultant with 2–4 years of hands-on experience in SAP Security and Authorizations. The ideal candidate should have strong knowledge of SAP role administration, user management, authorization concepts, SAP GRC, and exposure to SAP Cloud Identity Access Governance (IAG).

The consultant will be responsible for supporting SAP security operations across various SAP landscapes, managing user access and authorizations, ensuring compliance with security and governance standards, and contributing to security improvement initiatives.

Your future duties and responsibilities

- Manage SAP user administration activities, including user creation, modification, lock/unlock, and access reviews.
- Design, build, maintain, and troubleshoot SAP roles and authorizations.
- Perform role provisioning, role modifications, and authorization analysis based on business requirements.




- Support SAP Security activities across ECC, S/4HANA, BW, Solution Manager, and SAP BTP environments.
- Conduct Segregation of Duties (SoD) analysis and support audit and compliance requirements.
- Assist with user access reviews and periodic access recertification activities.
- Support SAP GRC access control and security governance processes.
- Analyze and resolve authorization-related issues and security incidents within defined SLAs.
- Collaborate with business, functional, technical, and support teams to address access and security requirements.
- Maintain appropriate documentation related to roles, users, access requests, and security processes.

Required qualifications to be successful in this role Must-Have Skills

- 2–4 years of hands-on experience in SAP Security & Authorizations.
- Solid experience in SAP User Administration.
- Hands-on experience with SAP Role Administration and PFCG.
- Good understanding of SAP Authorization Objects and authorization concepts.
- Experience in role creation, modification, provisioning, and troubleshooting.
- Experience with SAP GRC / Access Control concepts.
- Knowledge of Segregation of Duties (SoD) and access risk analysis.
- Exposure to SAP Cloud Identity Access Governance (IAG).
- Experience supporting SAP ECC and/or S/4HANA environments.
- Good analytical and troubleshooting skills.
- Strong communication and stakeholder coordination skills.

Good-to-Have Skills
- Experience with SAP BTP Security and Authorizations.
- Exposure to SAP BW and Solution Manager security.
- Experience with SAP Cloud Identity Services, IAS, or IPS.
- Knowledge of Access Request Management (ARM) and Access Risk Analysis (ARA).
- Experience with User Access Reviews (UAR)



and periodic access certification.
- Experience supporting SAP security audits and compliance activities.
- Knowledge of authorization troubleshooting tools such as SU53, ST01/STAUTHTRACE, SU24, SU01, and SU10.
- Experience working in an ITIL/production support or SLA-driven environment.
- Exposure to security improvement and automation initiatives.
