About The Client:

Qualifications:

- SAP S/4HANA Security and Authorization Senior Expert required for a greenfield implementation involving a complex multi-entity, multi-partner SAP landscape in high-tech manufacturing (AI/GPU hardware for a hyperscaler customer with strict security policies).

- Must have minimum 8+ years of experience in SAP Security and Authorization design with at least 2 S/4HANA implementations involving role-based access control for manufacturing environments with external partner access (contract manufacturers, 3PL providers).

- Core expertise required: authorization concept design, composite/single/derived role architecture, authorization object analysis (SU24/SU22), role creation and testing (PFCG), user administration, Segregation of Duties (SoD) ruleset design, and GRC Access Control integration for risk analysis and access request management.

- Must design security for a scenario where Contract Manufacturers operate as yellow-badge service providers within customer-owned SAP partitions — requiring strict data segregation by partner, plant, company code, and organizational unit while enabling shared master data governance.

- Experience with authorization for multiple SAP modules is mandatory:

- MM (purchasing groups, plant-level access)

- SD (sales org/distribution channel)

- PP/DM (work center, production order access)

- EWM (warehouse-level authorization)

- FI/CO (company code, cost center)

- IBP (planning area, version)

- MDG (governance workflow approvers)





- Must have experience with SAP BTP security:

- Identity Authentication Service (IAS)

- Identity Provisioning Service (IPS)

- Role collections

- Trust configuration

- SAML/OAuth for SSO between S/4HANA and BTP-based applications (Digital Manufacturing, IBP, MDG)

- Must configure SAP Fiori authorization:

- App-level restrictions

- OData service access

- Catalogs/groups

- Tile visibility

- Fiori Launchpad role-based personalization for different user personas (buyers, planners, shop floor operators, warehouse staff, finance)

- Candidate will be responsible for:

- Security concept document creation

- Role matrix design by business process

- Role build for all in-scope modules (estimated 50+ roles)

- SoD conflict analysis and mitigation

- Authorization testing during SIT/UAT

- End-user provisioning for go-live

- Hypercare security support

- Must comply with Customer Vendor Security Policy requirements — all work performed on Customer-provided laptops, no data transfer to SAP systems, and adherence to Customer security incident reporting procedures.

- Experience with customer-mandated security frameworks is required.

- Offshore delivery from India with minimum 4 hours daily overlap with US Central Time.

- Must be fluent in English.





- SAP Security certification or equivalent depth required.

- SAP Activate methodology experience mandatory.
