SAP RISE Migration Expert – to work directly with the bank on the migration (SAP Migration)

Role Overview:

The Migration Architect will lead the technical strategy and execution of complex SAP transformation projects from legacy environments to SAP S/4HANA under the RISE with SAP model, ensuring minimal downtime and high data integrity.

Migration

Architect (RISE) defines technical, data, and functional strategies for migrating ECC/legacy systems to SAP S/4HANA Private/Public Cloud S/4HANA conversions (Brownfield/Greenfield), expertise in RISE with SAP packages, IaaS providers (AWS/Azure/GCP), and HANA database management.

1. Key Responsibilities

o Strategy & Architecture: Design and implement end-to-end migration strategies (Brownfield, Greenfield, or Selective Data Transition) for RISE projects.

o RISE Technical Lead: Act as the primary technical advisor for the RISE contract, interfacing between the client and SAP delivery teams.

o Technical Migration: Lead OS/DB migrations, S/4HANA conversions, and system upgrades.

o Data Migration & Governance: Define data migration strategies, including scoping, cleansing,



and validation using tools like SAP LT Replication Server (SLT).

o Infrastructure Management: Evaluate and guide on infrastructure setups with Hyperscaler (AWS, Azure, GCP).

o Stakeholder Management: Present technical roadmaps and architectural decisions to C-level stakeholders.

1. Certification: SAP S/4HANA Cloud Implementation (Private/Public) certification.
2. Technical Expertise:

o Strong proficiency in S/4HANA administration.

o Experience with SAP Fiori configuration and troubleshooting.

o Hands-on experience with Solution Manager 7.2 (Solman), SAP Cloud ALM, or CHARM.

o Knowledge of SAP BTP integration and services.

o Deep knowledge of SAP HANA database, SAP Fiori, and NetWeaver.

1. Soft Skills: Robust analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills, with a client-facing mindset.
2. Preferred Qualifications:

- - Experience with SAP Activate methodology (If Poss)
- Knowledge of GRC (Governance, Risk, and Compliance).
- Experience with other cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP)
- Expert understanding of SAP Activate.
