SAP PS Consultant

Summary The SAP Project Systems (PS) Consultant is responsible for implementing, configuring, and supporting SAP Project Systems solutions within engineering and discrete manufacturing environments. This role partners with cross-functional teams to deliver end-to-end SAP PS, PPM, CPM, and Investment Management solutions, ensuring seamless integration with finance, manufacturing, logistics, and project management processes.

Responsibilities

- Lead and support end-to-end implementations of SAP Project Systems (PS), Project Portfolio Management (PPM), Commercial Project Management (CPM), and Investment Management (IM) solutions.

- Configure SAP PS functionalities, including Work Breakdown Structures (WBS), Networks, Milestones, Cost Planning, Budgeting, Scheduling, Material Requirements Planning (MRP), Project Quotations, Time Sheets, and Goods Issues.

- Define and support migration strategies for SAP PS objects during implementation and transformation projects.

- Design and implement integrations between SAP PS and SAP CO, FI, MM, SD, PP, and other logistics modules.

- Configure and support SAP CO-PS processes, including Product Costing, Profitability Analysis (CO-PA), Revenue Recognition, and Result Analysis.

- Develop functional specifications for reports, interfaces, forms, enhancements, and custom developments related to SAP PS.

- Provide production support, troubleshoot system issues,



and resolve functional defects.

- Collaborate with business stakeholders to gather requirements and deliver scalable SAP solutions.

- Support testing, user training, documentation, and deployment activities.

- Ensure SAP solutions align with business processes, project governance, and industry best practices.

Requirements

- 8+ years of SAP Project Systems (PS) experience within engineering or discrete manufacturing industries.

- Experience supporting multiple SAP ECC implementations.

- Experience participating in at least five full-cycle implementations involving SAP PS, PPM, CPM, and Investment Management (IM).

- Robust configuration experience with SAP Project Systems, including WBS, Networks, Milestones, Cost Planning, Budgeting, Scheduling, MRP, Project Quotations, Time Sheets, and Goods Issue processes.

- Strong knowledge of SAP CO-PS, including Product Costing, Profitability Analysis (CO-PA), Revenue Recognition, and Result Analysis.

- Experience integrating SAP PS with SAP CO, FI, MM, SD, PP, and HR modules.

- Experience defining migration concepts and supporting SAP PS data migration activities.

- Ability to develop functional specifications for reports, interfaces, enhancements, forms, and custom developments.

- Strong troubleshooting and production support experience.

- Experience with SAP S/4HANA is required.

- SAP Project Systems (PS) certification is preferred.
