SAP HANA / SAP BODS / Snowflake Consultant

Job Summary

We are looking for an experienced SAP HANA / SAP BODS / Snowflake Consultant with strong expertise in SAP HANA development, SAP BODS data integration, Snowflake data warehousing, and data migration projects. The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience in SQL, SQLScript, ETL/ELT development, performance optimization, and cloud data engineering solutions.

Key Responsibilities

SAP HANA Development

- Design and develop SAP HANA Information Models, including Calculation Views, Analytic Views, and CDS Views.
- Develop SQLScript procedures, table functions, and performance-optimized data models.
- Perform query tuning and database performance optimization.
- Support HANA Native Development and HANA XS Advanced applications.
- Analyze and resolve HANA data and performance-related issues.

SAP BODS Development

- Develop and maintain SAP Data Services (BODS) jobs, workflows, and dataflows.
- Design ETL processes for SAP and non-SAP source systems.
- Create reusable objects, custom transforms, and validation frameworks.
- Troubleshoot load failures, performance bottlenecks, and data quality issues.




- Support batch scheduling, monitoring, and production deployments.

Snowflake Data Engineering

- Design and implement scalable Snowflake Data Warehouse solutions.
- Develop ELT/ETL pipelines and data integration frameworks.
- Implement Snowflake features such as:

- Virtual Warehouses

- Snowpipe
- Streams & Tasks

- Time Travel

- Data Sharing
- Optimize Snowflake storage and compute costs.
- Manage security, RBAC, and access controls.

Data Migration & Analytics

- Execute migration projects from SAP BW, SAP HANA, Oracle, or traditional EDW platforms to Snowflake.
- Define migration strategies, reconciliation approaches, and validation processes.
- Design scalable cloud-based analytical solutions.
- Collaborate with business and analytics teams to meet reporting requirements.
- Support data governance and data quality initiatives.

Production Support

- Provide L2/L3 production support.
- Monitor ETL jobs, HANA models, and Snowflake workloads.
- Perform root cause analysis for incidents and performance issues.
- Prepare technical documentation and knowledge transfer materials.
- Participate in release management and deployment activities.
