SAP Group Reporting Consultant

1. Minimum 6+ years of SAP consulting experience, including at least 2 end-to-end SAP implementations with hands-on Group Reporting configuration and rollout experience.

2. Proven ability to lead consolidation process design workshops with finance and controllership teams.

3. SME-level expertise in consolidation, elimination, and group close processes within SAP Group Reporting.

4. Solid accounting background in consolidated financial statements, intercompany eliminations, minority interest, and currency translation.

5. Ability to convert consolidation pain points into user stories and configuration-ready specifications.

6. Deep knowledge of SAP-recommended best practices for Group Reporting vs. legacy consolidation tools (e.g., BPC, HFM).

7. Experience with data collection methods (flexible upload, real-time integration from S/4HANA, matrix consolidation).

8. Understanding of consolidation of investments, ownership structures, and equity pickup logic.

9. Familiarity with Group Reporting Data Collection and Currency Translation configuration.

10. Working knowledge of integration between Group Reporting and central finance/S/4HANA GL.

11. Exposure to AI tools (Claude, Gemini) for automating reconciliation checks or documentation is a plus.

12. Experience with financial statement version design and reporting hierarchies.

13. Ability to support statutory and management consolidation reporting cycles.

14. Strong Excel/reporting-layer skills for validation and reconciliation of consolidated outputs.

15. Experience managing UAT and parallel-run cycles during consolidation cutover.

16. Client-facing experience presenting consolidation designs to CFO-level stakeholders.

17. Prior Big 4/consulting delivery experience preferred.

18. Relevant SAP Group Reporting certification preferred.

SAP FI-CFIN (Central Finance) Consultant

1. Minimum 6+ years of SAP consulting experience, including at least 2 end-to-end implementations involving Central Finance (CFIN) landscape design and rollout.

2. Proven experience leading process design workshops covering source-system harmonization and target-architecture decisions.

3. SME in CFIN replication, mapping, and reconciliation between source ERPs and central S/4HANA finance.

4. Strong accounting foundation to validate posting logic, GL mapping, and reconciliation across landscapes.

5. Ability to convert business pain points (data fragmentation, reporting delays) into structured user stories and design specs.

6. Deep knowledge of SAP-recommended best practices for CFIN vs. custom replication logic.

7. Hands-on experience with SLT (SAP Landscape Transformation) replication and initial load/delta processes.

8. Experience with mapping and derivation configuration for company codes, chart of accounts, and cost objects.

9. Familiarity with central finance use cases: central reporting, central payment, selective data transition.

10. Understanding of reconciliation tools and error-handling within CFIN.

11. Exposure to AI tools (Claude, Gemini) for reconciliation analysis or mapping documentation is a plus.

12. Ability to work with technical/Basis teams on landscape and connectivity setup.

13. Experience managing multi-source-system rollouts (multiple ECC/non-SAP sources feeding one CFIN target).

14. Strong stakeholder management skills across finance, IT, and source-system owners.

15. Experience supporting cutover strategy, including phased or big-bang approaches.

16. Ability to troubleshoot replication errors and data inconsistencies.

17. Prior Big 4/large-scale consulting delivery experience preferred.

18. Relevant SAP CFIN/S4 Finance certification preferred.
