Description:

We are looking for experienced Technical Project Lead SAP Basis to lead and drive end-to-end SAP systems migration to AWS Cloud. The role requires solid expertise in SAP Basis, cloud architecture, and technical project leadership.

Candidate will act as the Technical Lead, ensuring alignment between SAP architecture and AWS services.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

Local Escalation point

Lead SAP to AWS migration projects:

Own technical delivery, timelines, risks, and quality

Lead sizing, capacity planning, and performance optimization

Plan and execute SAP migration using AWS services

Manage cutover planning, downtime optimization, and dress rehearsals

Validate system readiness post-migration

Strong experience in SAP Basis administration (ECC / S/4HANA / BW)

Proven experience in SAP migration to AWS

Hands-on with:

-SAP HANA / AnyDB

-OS/DB migration (SUM DMO,



SWPM)

-AWS services and architecture

Knowledge of

-HA/DR (e.g., HANA System Replication)

-Backup strategies (AWS-native + SAP tools)

-Experience with AWS services:

-EC2, S3, EBS, VPC, IAM, CloudWatch

Knowledge

SAP Basis

SAP Netweaver

Solid understanding of SAP Cloud and hybrid environments - Preferable AWS Cloud

Database supporting SAP (Oracle, Sybase ASE, Maxdb, SQL Server, HANA)

SAP ERP (R/3, ECC, S/4HANA)

OS knowledge (Linux, Unix, Windows)

Service Now as a user is a plus

Know-how

Excellent communicaiton skills

Confirmed experience as a technical lead, architect, or technical project manager

Team management
