Title: SAP ABAP Technical Consultant with CRM

Key Responsibilities

- Solution design and build
- Translate business requirements into scalable technical designs leveraging ABAP OO, CDS views, and CRM BOL/GENIL frameworks.
- Design object-oriented architectures with creational patterns (factory, factory method, abstract factory) to ensure modularity, testability, and extensibility.
- Develop high-performance CDS views for analytical and transactional scenarios, ensuring semantic correctness, authorization checks, and performance optimization.
- Create and optimize classical and ALV reports, enhancements (user exits/BAdIs/implicit & explicit enhancements), function modules, and APIs.
- Model, maintain, and optimize DDIC artifacts (tables, views, data elements, domains, search helps, lock objects, table types) with data quality and performance in mind.
- SAP CRM development
- Implement CRM WebUI enhancements, component workbench development, context nodes, and UI configuration with a focus on UX consistency and performance.
- Develop and extend business object logic using BOL/GENIL (modelling, query objects, energetic queries, associations, and buffering).
- Integrate S/4 Hana ABAP CRM through PI/PO proxies and AIF to external systems
- Frameworks and advanced topics
- Apply solid understanding of BOPF concepts (BO models, nodes, determinations, validations, actions, and buffering) to projects where applicable or in S/4HANA contexts.
- Build, expose, and consume services (OData/REST), and good understanding of web services
- Quality, performance, and operations
- Enforce coding standards, perform peer reviews, and write unit/integration tests (ABAP Unit),



ensuring maintainable, secure code.
- Conduct performance tuning (SQL trace/ST05, SAT, SQL monitor/SQLM, runtime analysis) and memory optimization for ABAP and CDS artifacts.
- Troubleshoot complex issues across application layers (UI—WebUI, BOL/GENIL—model layer, DB—CDS/SQL), and drive root-cause resolution.
- Prepare technical design documents, deployment instructions, and operational handbooks; support transport management and release processes.
- Collaboration and leadership
- Support development activities, estimate effort, and break down deliverables into iterative increments.
- Partner with functional consultants and business stakeholders to shape feasible, value-centric solutions and ensure traceability from requirements to delivery.

Experience - 6–10+ years of hands-on ABAP development; 3–5+ years in SAP CRM with WebUI/BOL/GENIL.

- Demonstrated track record of leading technical delivery in medium-to-large SAP programs.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills; excellent communication and stakeholder management.
