nMain Purpose:
nThe position is responsible for managing the daily operations of the RTOC, including pre-drilling planning, real-time monitoring, resource allocation, clear reporting of well-site activities, and providing support for drilling and completion operations.
n
nJob Accountabilities:
n
- n
- Coordinate RTOC operations and ensure QA/QC of RTOC functions and reports.n
- Assist in the effective drilling and completion of wells by analyzing drilling parameters in real time against predictive models for D&C; operations.n
- Report anomalies and interventions to the Rig Team within the shortest possible time.n
- Track risks and support risk mitigation in well planning and well design during the drilling phase.n
- Provide decision support to the drilling team with the aim of improving drilling performance through real-time monitoring of drilling and completion data in the RTOC.n
- Prepare End-of-Well Reports and Event Analysis Reports.n
- Manage RTOC data.n
- Mentor RTOC team members.n
n
nSkills Required:
n
- n
- Good experience in preparing pre-drill models using simulation software such as Landmark Suite and K&M; ERA.n
- Experience in real-time data monitoring operations in Deepwater, HPHT, and/or underbalanced drilling and/or extended-reach drilling environments.n
- Strong organizational, communication, and leadership skills.n
n
nQualification:
n
- n
- Bachelor’s degree in Petroleum Engineering or Master’s degree in Earth Sciences.n
n
nExperience:
n
- n
- 10+ years of experience in Drilling Operations, preferably including 2–3 years of Deepwater operations.n
- Extensive experience in real-time data monitoring and well optimization.n
- Good knowledge of real-time data mapping and transfer through WITS/WITSML.n
