Job Position: Mainframe Storage Engineer
nLocation: Mumbai/Chennai
nExperience: 5+ to 10+ Years
nMandatory Skills: - IBM-Storage, Mainframe - IMSDB, Mainframe DB2, REXX, Z/OS

nKey Responsibilities
n• Manage and support enterprise Mainframe Storage environments in 24×7 production operations.
n• Perform storage implementation, maintenance, monitoring, troubleshooting, and operational support.
n• Support z/OS I/O architecture, including CHPIDs, control units, paths, FICON, and multipathing.
n• Analyze and troubleshoot I/O performance using RMF, SMF, and DCOLLECT.
n• Work closely with z/OS Systems Programmers and infrastructure teams.
n• Support multi-datacenter, multi-region, and global production environments.
n• Participate in technical projects with minimal supervision and provide technical guidance to junior team members.




n• Perform technical reviews and assist with complex storage-related problem resolution.

n• Strong understanding of Mainframe I/O architecture and performance diagnostics.
n• Experience in 24×7 mission-critical and highly regulated production environments.
