Role Description This is a full time, on-site Sales Executive role based in Ranchi.

The Sales

Executive will identify and qualify prospective customers, conduct meetings and site visits, and present solar solutions tailored to individual energy needs and budgets.

Responsibilities include explaining product features and financial benefits, preparing proposals and quotations, and managing the end-to-end sales cycle from lead generation to closing. The role involves maintaining relationships with existing customers, coordinating with technical and installation teams, and updating sales records and reports.

Executive will also participate in local marketing activities, events, and outreach to increase awareness of Solar Earth’s offerings.

Qualifications

- Demonstrated experience in field sales, business development, or customer-facing roles, ideally in solar, renewable energy, or related sectors.
- Strong communication, negotiation, and presentation skills, with the ability to explain technical concepts in simple terms.
- Ability to build trust-based relationships, understand customer needs, and provide appropriate solutions.
- Comfort with on-site visits, local travel in and around Ranchi, and working in a target-driven environment.
- Basic proficiency in using computers, CRM tools, and office software for reporting and documentation.
- Self-motivated, organized, and able to work both independently and as part of a team.
- Relevant educational background in business, marketing, engineering, or a related field is preferred but not mandatory.
- Interest in sustainable energy and willingness to learn about solar technologies and policies.
