Job Summary

We are looking for a agile and technically skilled Sales & Service Engineer to handle technical sales, customer development, installation, commissioning, troubleshooting, and after-sales service of industrial machinery and automation systems.

Key Responsibilities

Sales Responsibilities

- Identify and develop new customers and business opportunities.
- Understand customer requirements and recommend suitable technical solutions.
- Prepare and deliver technical presentations, quotations, and proposals.
- Conduct customer visits, product demonstrations, and technical discussions.
- Generate leads and follow up with prospective customers.
- Coordinate with the design, production, purchase, and project teams for order execution.
- Achieve assigned sales targets and maintain strong customer relationships.
- Prepare regular sales reports and maintain customer/project records.

Service Responsibilities

- Install, commission, and troubleshoot machines and automation systems at customer sites.
- Attend breakdown and service calls and provide timely technical solutions.
- Conduct preventive maintenance and machine performance checks.
- Diagnose mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and automation-related issues.
- Support customers during machine trials and production startup.




- Coordinate with internal technical teams for complex troubleshooting.
- Prepare service reports and maintain proper service documentation.
- Provide basic technical training to customers/operators wherever required.

Required Skills
- Strong technical and troubleshooting skills.
- Good communication and customer-handling skills.
- Ability to understand engineering drawings and machine specifications.
- Basic knowledge of electrical, mechanical, pneumatic, and automation systems.
- Good negotiation and presentation skills.
- Willingness to travel to customer sites as required.
- Good knowledge of MS Office and report preparation.

Qualification Diploma / BE / B.Tech in Mechanical, Electrical, Electronics, Mechatronics, or a related engineering discipline.

Experience

2–5 years of relevant experience in Sales, Service, Installation, Commissioning, or Technical Support of industrial machinery/automation systems.
