Key Responsibilities

- Ensure compliance with all EHS, safety and statutory requirements within warehouse, yard and material handling operations.

- Conduct regular Safety Audits, inspections and risk assessments and ensure timely closure of observations.

- Monitor safe operation of MHE, forklifts, stackers, VNA, trucks and other material handling equipment.

- Ensure compliance with PPE requirements, safety procedures, work permits and SOPs.

- Conduct Toolbox Talks, Safety Induction and regular safety training for employees, drivers, contractors and visitors.

- Identify unsafe acts/conditions and implement appropriate corrective and preventive actions (CAPA).

- Investigate accidents, near misses and incidents and prepare RCA and corrective action reports.

- Maintain safety records, inspection checklists, training records and statutory documentation.

- Coordinate with JSW EHS/Safety team and ensure compliance with customer safety standards.

- Monitor emergency preparedness, fire safety,



evacuation drills and first-aid arrangements.

- Track safety KPIs and prepare daily/weekly/monthly safety MIS for management and customer review.

- Promote a strong safety culture and zero-accident environment across the operation.

Candidate Profile

- Qualification: Diploma/Degree in Safety / Industrial Safety / Engineering.

- Experience: 37 years of relevant experience in warehouse, logistics, manufacturing or automobile/industrial operations.

- Good knowledge of EHS practices, risk assessment, incident investigation, fire safety and industrial safety standards.

- Experience in handling MHE and warehouse/yard safety will be preferred.

- Valuable communication, coordination and documentation skills.

- Should be capable of independently managing safety activities at the site.Role & responsibilities
