Position : Safety Officer

Location : Kochi ,Kerala

Qualification : Diploma & NEBOSH& IOSH

Experience : Minimum 3+ yrs experience in construction domain

Salary : Best in the industry

Joining time : ASAP - Less than 20 days

Key Responsibilities

- Implement the site Health, Safety & Environment (HSE) policy.
- Conduct daily safety inspections of the construction site.
- Identify hazards and ensure corrective actions are taken immediately.
- Ensure all workers wear the required PPE at all times.
- Conduct toolbox talks and daily safety briefings.
- Monitor work permits for high-risk activities (hot work, height work, excavation, lifting, etc.).
- Inspect scaffolding, ladders,



lifting tools, and safety equipment.
- Ensure proper barricading and warning signage in work areas.
- Investigate accidents, incidents, and near-miss cases and submit reports.
- Maintain safety records, inspection checklists, and statutory documents.
- Coordinate emergency response, fire drills, and first-aid arrangements.
- Ensure compliance with client safety requirements and legal regulations.
- Stop unsafe work and report serious violations to the Project Manager.
- Conduct safety induction training for new employees and subcontractors.
- Monitor housekeeping and protected material storage across the site.
- Liaise with client safety representatives during inspections and audits.
