Job Summary

We are looking for an experienced Safety Officer to ensure safe execution of Wind BOP construction, electrical, civil, transmission and commissioning activities at project sites.

Responsibilities

- Implement and monitor HSE policies, procedures and safety standards at the project site.

- Conduct regular site safety inspections, safety audits and risk assessments.

- Ensure compliance with PTW (Permit to Work), LOTO, electrical safety and work-at-height procedures.

- Monitor safety during 33kV HT line, substation, switchyard, transformer and cable installation.

- Conduct Toolbox Talks, safety training and induction programs for employees and contractors.

- Monitor PPE compliance and safe working practices.

- Identify unsafe acts/conditions and ensure timely corrective actions.

- Investigate near-miss incidents, accidents and unsafe occurrences and prepare reports.

- Coordinate with contractors and site teams to maintain safety standards.

- Maintain HSE records,



inspection reports, training records and statutory documents.

- Conduct emergency preparedness drills and ensure availability of firefighting and first-aid facilities.

- Support compliance with applicable electrical safety, labour and environmental regulations.

Qualifications

Diploma / B.E./B.Tech in Engineering with Diploma/Certification in Industrial Safety (DIS/ADIS) or equivalent.
