NCL Buildtek is Hiring for a Roll Forming Engineer to oversee the design, setup, optimization, and troubleshooting of our continuous roll forming production lines. You will be responsible for designing roller tooling, programming CNC machinery, reducing material scrap, and ensuring structural profiles meet strict engineering tolerances.

Key Responsibilities

- Tooling & Pass Design: Design, detail, and validate roll form tooling and die sequences using software like COPRA RF or AutoCAD.

- Process Optimization: Analyze machine setups, strip tracking, and roll pressures to maximize line speed and eliminate defects like twist, camber, or bow.

- New Product Introduction (NPI): Lead trial runs for recent profiles, evaluate material behavior (high-strength steel, aluminum), and sign off on production readiness.

- Troubleshooting: Diagnose complex mechanical, alignment, and material gauge variances on the production floor.





- Continuous Improvement: Implement Lean manufacturing principles to minimize changeover times (SMED) and reduce scrap rates.

Required Qualifications & Skills

- Education: Bachelors Degree or Diploma in Mechanical Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, or a related technical field.

- Technical Expertise: Minimum 5 years of direct experience in roll forming process engineering and flower pattern/tooling design.

- Software Proficiency: Hands-on experience with COPRA RF, AutoCAD, SolidWorks, or Inventor.

- Material Knowledge: Deep understanding of metallurgy, yield strength, springback characteristics, and coil slit tolerances.

- Equipment Knowledge: Familiarity with decoilers, straighteners, flying cut-off presses, and punching dies.
